SCM GROUP UK TRAINING DEPARTMENT
In order to provide a comprehensive back-up to SCM Group UK’s successful sales team, SCM’s Service Department provide Training Courses to their customer’s operators and personnel, in the use and programming of the companies range of sophisticated CNC machining centres and routing machines, now supplied over a period of many years into a variety of industries.
SCM’s personnel conducting the training courses are highly-skilled engineers, experienced in the use and programming of SCM’s varied range of CNC machines.
Within SCM’s Nottingham premises, a very well equipped Training Room with the latest computer simulators and relevant software currently used on the CNC machines, and also from previous CNC models that have since been updated.
The initial course is aimed at, and included, to all new purchasers of SCM CNC machines, or alternatively, for new personnel employed at existing SCM customers, and generally lasts for 3 continuous working days. They are designed to give customers operatives or programmers, a good insight into CNC programming techniques with respect to SCM’s CNC machines. The Courses are purposely held away from customer’s respective working environments, thus free from unwelcome distractions, to enable candidates to easily absorb information as quickly and effectively as possible.
The Training Courses which we offer have always been very well received by our customers due to the realisation by them, of the increased versatility and output the CNC machines we can offer, and of the need to obtain a new level of skills in this technological age, experience not always readily available in today’s employment market place.
This facility helps to demonstrate SCM Group’s commitment to an on-going and professional support service to their many customers in all aspects after the initial sales process.
